New venture

I finally got a job where I can bring my ideas about the aging population's major problems in skilled nursing facilties can be solved. I landed a social service Director position at another nursing home and start on Monday Oct 6. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am hoping that all of the work I am now doing will pay off at the end when I hope to open my own ALF. It has been a dream of mine since I was 18 years old. I envision it, know how to obtain the license, and know how to market. I just lack the confidence still. Maybe all of these social service jobs are paving the way for me? With the economy so tough at the moment, I feel blessed to have gotten this job as it should pay off. I am more than excited for my bff Shelby and her hysterical hubby John to move to FL. I just hope we end up in the same city. Finally a break!

New Day..

Well, today I was inspired to start a blog by my best friend, Shelby's blog. I enjoy reading hers so much, I thought that I should have one in case anyone who cares, can know what we are up to. If you know Shelby and John, they are moving to Florida as we speak. So, if you guys ever read this, I am so excited, I can't wait to see you!

Pete, Ethan, Tyler, and I had a wonderful day at the beach. It was perfect weather, not too hot, just cool enough. I am truely happy when we are all at the beach together. I tend to focus on the sea shells or the surf, rather than all those other issues we adults tend to think about.

Life is treating us pretty good. We all have our health and Peter and I are both working. We both are blessed with Ethan, he keeps us on our toes.

Well, I would love to hear from anyone who reads, I can't get enough of keeping in touch with friends.

I'll be at the beach again tomorrow since it is too beautiful to stay inside.
